Rico and Kiyon, a gay couple, came to India to have a child with artificial insemination by appointing a surrogate mother and an egg donor. Initially opposing the idea of two men parenting a child, the doctor eventually agrees to take this case. Unfortunately, by the time the child is born, the couple has separated leaving the baby in the lurch as an orphan.
