Directed by Suresh Khare,“Kachecha Chandra” is a story about Shakuntala, a simpleton who is of a marriageable age. She gets a marriage proposal from Vishwanath Karve, a writer, but at the same time she also gets a lucrative offer as a lead role in a movie. She accepts the role and rejects the marriage proposal. Soon enough, Shakuntala is a renowned actress in the film industry. Her step brother Baburao, a sly and sleazy character, takes undue advantage of her innocence and has her in his complete grasp, financially and physically as well. So absolutely obsessed is Baburao with her that he does not hesitate to kill two of her prospective suitors who were in love with her. Will Shakuntala be able to escape from Baburao’s clutches? Will she ever be able to start afresh in life?

An experiment to show the same story from two perspectives, this play is about Dr. Hemant (Mohan Joshi) and his wife Varsha (Rima Lagoo). Varsha is slightly crazy and is very suspicious of her husband having an extra marital affair with one of his students. They have frequent arguments in their daily life and at the end of the first act, the couple splits. The second act begins with the same story, same characters and same names. But what’s different is Varsha’s attitude. Dr. Hemant is extremely proficient, but is a flirt. Varsha knows about his flirting habit, but she ignores it. Hemant gets angry with her cool attitude and the fact that she does not fight with him. But will they split in this scenario as well?

The drama revolves around spices vendor Baburao Warwante, his assistant Chimanrao, his son Vijay who aims to be a famous cricketer but who is forced by Baburao to look after his well-settled business, and baburao's daughter Varsha. Varsha is in love with Rajeev who is a poet. Baburao is opposed to their alliance and issues a matrimonial ad in a newspaper for her. Will some Mr. Perfect come and marry Varsha? Or will she get to marry Rajeev?

This is a satirical comedy in the tradition of 'Tamasha' a form of Maharashtrian folk theatre which came into existence in the early 16th century. 'Ghadvacha Lagna' (The Donkey's Wedding) is an interesting tale that will leave you in splits with its roaring humour with a sweet takeaway in the end.

It takes a look at the dilemma of Sujata who weds a married man, Manohar Lele. Manohar’s first wife Kusum is childless and just for the sake of their own biological child; they plot a counterfeit marriage of Manohar and Sujata. When Sujata gives birth to her child, Manohar divulges his plan, seizes her child and tosses her out of his life. Sujata is totally crestfallen. Will Sujata get back her child? Will anyone help her?

P. L. Deshpande's Batatyachi Chaal is based on his book of the same name. This one-man play revolves around residents of a chawl, populated by 20 middle-class families and fictionally located in central Mumbai. Pu. La vividly paints each of the characters in the chawl making them a part of your life.
